R.O.C.K. (Relying on Christ the King) Radio is an online radio station that plays the best Christian rock and hip hop music on the net. Andrew Johnson and David Marshall began R.O.C.K. Radio in 2005 when Kansas City lost a great Christian rock radio station. They wanted to do something for the teens of Kansas City. R.O.C.K. Radio is now heard over the internet to many people across the world in several countries.

The Midwest’s largest Christian music festival is almost here! Get your tickets today!

Rock the Light, the Midwest’s largest contemporary Christian music festival, will be held for the ninth straight year at Kansas City’s Starlight Theatre on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29 and 30, 2008. Continued and expanded programming establishes Rock the Light as a cutting-edge, increasingly popular festival. The festival began in 1999 and has grown steadily during the last eight years. Some of Rock the Light’s most noted artists include Third Day, mercyme, Relient K, Audio Adrenaline, Superchic[k], Rachael Lampa, Toby Mac, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman and many more. These and other artists are Dove Award winners and multi-platinum artists in the CCM genre.

Rock the Light also garners local support and music with its Satellite Stages, welcoming Kansas City and regional talent and up-and-coming bands. Rock the Light has hosted a Christian music talent search for the past three years in the hopes of propelling Kansas City talent to the mainstream. Rock the Light takes pride in its true meaning to present music with a message. Our Seeking Friends Program, Youth Leader Oasis and other programs are designed to broaden the meaning behind the music.
